Located in the center of the Navajo nation, this city is located at the entrance to the Canyon de Chelly National Monument and is home to the sheer cliffs, sandy canyons, and hundreds of Anasazi ruins as well as modern Navajo homes and farms.  You’ll see unusual and majestic landscapes, many of which Native Americans believe to be sacred.  You will hike, raft, and take advantage of brilliant photo opportunities at every turn.  Don’t forget your camera!

 

Coverage dates:  Position starts as soon as credentialing is complete – December 31, 2018

Four corners Regional Health Center Outpatient clinic

16-20 patients/day

Mon-Fri schedule 8a-5p

No call or weekends

 

Must be board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

One active & unrestricted state license required

Proficiency with general family services

Active DEA required

Previous Indian Health experience preferred

Experience with electronic medical records required

BLS, PALS, ATLS & ACLS required

Current CV with no gaps over 30 days

3 current references

Many of the patient’s service may only speak a native language and reside on the reservation. The contractor should be able to show sensitivity to cross cultural and language differences. The contractor must have the ability work with interpreters in some cases for non-English speaking patients. In situations, where interpretation is required, staff will provide these services
